NORTH HAVEN — The Abdul-Majid Karim Hasan Islamic Center will hold its 15th Annual Leadership Awards & Fundraising Dinner on Nov. 10.

The luncheon will take place from noon to 5 p.m. at Fantasia Banquet Facility, 404 Washington Ave.

Some of the community leaders honored by the Islamic Center in past years include: New Haven Mayor Toni Harp (then a state senator); former Hamden Mayor Carl Amento; Al-Hajj Yusuf Ibn Shah, former New Haven alderman; funeral director Howard K.
