YAKIMA, Wash. -- The second annual Sagebrush Hills Film Festival got underway Friday with the Silver Screen Gala at the Yakima Valley Museum. The opening-night party featured a red carpet, local food vendors and specialty cocktails. It preceded a screening of the 2016 Indian film “Neerja.” Festival organizers Soo Choi and Clayton Bussey introduced the film, which also screened Sunday at Glenwood Square. In addition to Glenwood Square and the museum, this year’s Sagebrush Hills Film Festival included screenings at The Hop Shop and Gilbert Cellars, making for a four-venue, three-day festival.
