St. Rita students participate in Connecticut Invention Convention
St. Rita School fifth-grade students were among about 170 students who are participating in the annual Connecticut Invention Convention. They visited the State Capitol and the Legislative Office Building Wednesday for a press conference with Gov. Dannel Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman and to display their inventions and practice presenting them. Some of these students will be among the 700 finalists competing in the competition May 17 at the University of Connecticut
